well we had two occasions to dress up this year... pretty much we were o for 2. Our first test was a Halloween party in the tri-cities. Richard dressed as a Australian game hunter, while Kim used our kangaroo suit to spice up her ethnic hairstylist costume. So we did get an honorable mention for coordination, but our costume lacked euphemism which was required at this party (yet not mentioned on the invitation). On Halloween we got a second chance, Richard thought he had a his office costume contest in the bag with his "New Kids on a Block Fan" costume, but he was out shined by a hippie, a viking and a dog show enthusiast dress as the grim reaper. Kim fared better with her funny glasses/mustache getup. It at least got a mocking laugh from an eight year old at the ward trunk or treat. So i guess if you add up a participation point from the party and a notch for being mocked by an pre-adolescent, we actually were like 3/4 for 2. Plus we got rid of all the left over "body part candy" we bought for last years Christmas party... yes they were a little hard, but so are jolly ranchers and no one complains about them.
